ReCALL (Lastest Release)

ReCALL is Jamiia Franklin’s latest album! Part of a larger series, ReCOLLECTIONS, which has spanned the last 6 years, ReCALL explores songs that greatly influenced Jamiia’s musical journey. This album features songs with Jamiia’s greatest production quality (as is tradition with this series), showing her musical growth and creating a work that she will always be fond of. ReCALL features 11 tracks (Jamiia’s largest home-studio album yet!) that revisit old favorites and expands into new horizons, and even genres.

Jamiia is most excited to showcase several genres in ReCALL such as: J-Pop in “My Soul, Your Beats!” March with “Mickey Club March,” Jazz in “Traverse Town,” and the more classical version of “Dearly Beloved” featured in Yoko Shiomura’s 358/2 Days version of “Kingdom Hearts.” The production of these works, especially “My Soul, Your Beats!” made for an engaging experience Jamiia is excited to share!

The Sound Series!

Jamiia has performed within several ensembles 2024-2025. Within these groups she: partook in several world premieres, a ballet with EMU’s symphony orchestra and students of EMU’s dance program, and performed with EMU’s marching band at Ford Field. Jamiia Franklin loves collaborating in these larger ensemble settings. However, she feels called to her smaller, more intimate collaborations through hosting recitals.

Through her recitals, Jamiia connects with her audience more than ever: arranging pieces to perform with her friends (and partner), performing expressive oboe solos, and highlighting various groups of musicians Jamiia gigs with. The sound series are the two recital performances Jamiia shared during her senior year in college. The recitals of this series are titled “Enchantment In Sound” and “A Tapestry Of Sounds“.
