The SMSE jazz is a small jazz group that consists of approximately 13 rotating musicians. These musicians are passionate and talented performers that perform jazz standards and fusion arrangements for live audiences. So far, the ensemble has collaborated with arrangers Jamiia Franklin and Noah Gorman to perform engaging sets.

SMSE Jazz’s first headlining concert was July 19th, 2025 at 6:30 pm. This night of Jazz featured an opening set by Iridescent Bloom, a performance of Pink Panther’s opening theme by the SMSE Sax trio, several jazz standards and modern songs covered by SMSE Jazz, as well as a live performance of new the collaborative single, “No eenfo, just K H A O S.” This single is now available on streaming services, including YouTube! Watermelon Man, as performed during this concert, is also available on all popular music streaming services.
The set included works and arrangements by Miles Davis, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Herbie Hancock, John Coltrane, and more! The setlist can be found here.
